Installing and Using the File System Filter Driver

  a) Ensure both WinfsProf.inf and Winfsprof.sys are in the same directory.
  b) Right click on Winfsprof.inf and choose the Install option. 
  c) To start the driver go into a command shell, and type "net start Winfsprof".
  d) To stop the driver go into a command shell, and type "net stop Winfsprof".


For User Mode Application

  a) Ensure WinfsDll.dll is in the default PATH for library searches.
  b) Use WinfsApp.exe for the profiling needs.
